Ingredients
For the Salmon
3 lb. side of salmon, skin on
For the Marinade
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic (about 1 large clove)
1/3 cup olive oil (plus extra for brushing the grill)
Optional Garnish
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
Instructions
Prepare the Marinade
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and olive oil until well combined.
2. Marinate the Salmon
Place the salmon (skin-side down) in a large dish or tray.
Pour the marinade evenly over the top.
Cover and refrigerate for 20–30 minutes.
3. Preheat the Grill
Preheat grill to medium-high heat (about 375–400°F / 190–200°C).
Brush grill grates lightly with olive oil to prevent sticking.
4. Grill the Salmon
Place salmon skin-side down on the grill.
Close the lid and cook for 12–18 minutes, depending on thickness.
Avoid flipping — the skin helps protect the fish and keeps it moist.
Salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
5. Garnish & Serve
Carefully remove from grill.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired and serve immedia
