  2. In a bowl, toss diced apples with cinnamon and a sprinkle of sugar.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, combine eggs, milk, and melted butter until blended.
  5. Gradually mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined. Gently fold in spiced apple chunks.
  6. Spoon batter into muffin cups about three-quarters full.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Check with a toothpick for doneness.
  8. While cooling slightly, whisk powdered sugar and milk to make the glaze; drizzle over warm muffins.
