Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 sheets pre-made puff pastry
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 cups frozen wild blueberries
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • Juice of ½ small lemon
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the berry jam by cooking blueberries, granulated sugar, and lemon juice in a saucepan over medium heat until thickened (about 10-15 minutes). Let cool.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Gradually add cold heavy whipping cream, beating until soft peaks form. Mix in powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out puff pastry and cut into triangles. Add cooled berry jam and cream filling to each triangle before rolling tightly from the wide end.
  4. Brush rolled croissants with beaten egg and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
