  • Pinch salt
  • 2 tbsp plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter (for topping)
  • About 2 tbsp reduced cider (reserved from above)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (for topping)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your donut pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together apple cider and melted butter. Add sugar, egg, yogurt, and vanilla; mix until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, nutmeg, cloves, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
  4. Fill each cavity of the donut pan about two-thirds full with batter.
  5. Bake for about 10 minutes until golden brown; check doneness with a toothpick.
