Instructions

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, mix melted butter with both sugars until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until combined.
  4. Gradually stir in dry ingredients and fold in chocolate chips.

  6. Bake for 23–28 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  7. Allow cake to cool before frosting: beat softened butter until smooth, gradually adding powdered sugar, cream, vanilla, and salt until fluffy.
