- 1 pound elbow macaroni

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cook elbow macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In the same pot, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic until softened. Stir in flour and cook until golden.
- Gradually whisk in milk and cream; cook until thickened. Season with nutmeg and pepper.
