  • 2 large boneless/skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • Salt/Pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 1 cup sour cream (at room temp)
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 oz packet Ranch seasoning mix


Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and melted butter over medium heat. Add seasoned chicken breasts and cook for 6–7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet. In the same skillet, add cream of chicken soup, milk, sour cream, onion powder, and Ranch seasoning mix; whisk until smooth.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, and let simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Serve alongside your choice of steamed vegetables or baked potatoes.
