- 3 tablespoons butter (divided)
- 8 ounces cremini mushrooms (sliced)
- 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup white apple vinegar
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Cut chicken breasts in half lengthwise, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then coat lightly in flour.
- Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown; transfer to a plate.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and mushrooms with Italian seasoning; cook for 5-6 minutes until mushrooms are tender.
- Stir in minced garlic for one minute, then add white apple vinegar to deglaze the pan. Reduce for 2-3 minutes.
