  • 1/4 cup ground flax or chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter or nut/seed butter of choice
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup M & M’s (for Chocolate Peanut Butter)
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder (for Chocolate Peanut Butter)
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (for Chocolate Peanut Butter)
  • 1/2 cup fruit juice sweetened dried blueberries (for Blueberry Lemon)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon (for Blueberry Lemon)
  • 1 tsp lemon zest (for Blueberry Lemon)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (for Blueberry Lemon)
  • 3/4 cup freeze-dried strawberries (for Strawberry Cinnamon)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon or 1/2 teaspoon cardamom (for Strawberry Cinnamon)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (for Strawberry Cinnamon)
  • 1/8 tsp almond extract (for Strawberry Cinnamon)
  • 3/4 cup freeze-dried apples (for Apple Pie)
  • 2 tsp cinnamon (for Apple Pie)
  • Pinch of nutmeg (for Apple Pie)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (for Apple Pie)
  • 1/2 cup dried tart cherries (for Cherry Almond)
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (for Cherry Almond)
  • 2 tsp fresh lemon juice (for Cherry Almond)
  • 1/8 tsp almond extract (for Cherry Almond)
  • 2 scoops (6 tablespoons) vanilla collagen or plant-based protein (for Vanilla Sprinkle)
  • 1.25-ounce package sprinkles or 8 teaspoons (for Vanilla Sprinkle)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped nuts (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats and ground flax or chia seeds. If using spices for flavor variations, add them now.
  2. Mix in the nut butter, maple syrup or honey, vanilla (if desired), and a pinch of salt until well combined.
  3. Choose one of the flavor variations and incorporate the additional ingredients thoroughly.
  4. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, portion the mixture onto a baking sheet or plate. Aim for about 18-22 bites.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up before enjoying.
