1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 46 large lemons)

For Flavored Variations

Strawberry Lemonade
1 lb strawberries (to yield about 1/2 cup juice)
2 cups homemade lemonade

Blueberry Lemonade
2 pints blueberries (to yield about 1/2 cup juice)
2 cups homemade lemonade

Peach Lemonade
3 cups chopped peaches (about 3 large peaches, to yield about 1/2 cup juice)
2 cups homemade lemonade

Raspberry Lemonade
1 cup raspberries (to yield about 1/2 cup juice)
2 cups homemade lemonade

Instructions

  • Prepare the Honey Syrup
In a small saucepan, warm 1 cup of water over low heat. Add the honey and stir until it fully dissolves. Remove from heat and allow it to cool slightly.
  • Mix the Lemonade Base

  • Chill the Lemonade
Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  • Prepare Fruit Variations
To make fruit lemonade, blend the fruit until smooth and strain if desired to remove seeds or pulp.
  • Combine with Lemonade
Mix 1/2 cup fruit juice or puree with 2 cups of the prepared lemonade. Stir well.
  • Serve
Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices or fresh fruit if desired.
