  • 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp granulated sugar (for biscuits)

  • 3/4 cup salted butter, cubed and cold
  • 1 cup cold buttermilk
  • 1 and 1/4 cups cold heavy cream
  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Prep the Strawberries: In a bowl, combine quartered strawberries with granulated sugar. Set aside in the fridge.
  2. Make the Biscuits: Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon. Cut in cold butter until pea-sized. Stir in buttermilk until a dough forms. Shape into a rectangle, fold for layers, then cut out biscuits.
  3. Bake: Chill biscuits on a baking sheet while preheating oven to 400°F. Bake for 20–24 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Make the Whipped Cream: Beat cold heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
