- 16 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- For the cheesecake layer: Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth, then mix in sour cream and eggs. Pour into a prepared round pan and bake for 40–45 minutes. Chill completely.
- For the red velvet cake layers: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine dry ingredients in one bowl and wet ingredients in another, then mix until smooth. Divide batter into prepared round pans and bake for 25–30 minutes. Cool completely on a wire rack.
- For the frosting: Beat together cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until fluffy.
