  • 1 medium cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1/3 cup rice flour
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1.5 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice apple vinegar
  • 1-2 tbsp Sriracha sauce (to taste)
  • Honey or maple syrup for sweetness


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, toss cauliflower florets with rice flour, cornstarch, and enough water to create a smooth batter.
  3. Spread the coated cauliflower evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and crispy.
  4. While baking, prepare the sauce by simmering sesame oil, soy sauce, vinegar, Sriracha, ginger, and garlic in a saucepan. Thicken with honey and cornstarch mixed with water.
  5. Once cooked, toss the roasted cauliflower in the sauce until evenly coated.
