Instructions

  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, melted butter, egg, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and zest until smooth.
  4. Gradually add wet ingredients to dry ingredients; stir until just combined. Fold in chopped strawberries.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. While baking, prepare the glaze by mixing sugar with lemon juice and warm water until smooth.
