  • 1 1/2 cups Walnuts
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Corn Syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Water
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract


Instructions

  1. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or a Silpat mat.
  2. In a medium-small saucepan, attach a candy thermometer. Combine walnuts, both sugars, corn syrup, and water, stirring gently. Add butter.
  3. Cook over medium heat until the mixture reaches 295°F, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
  4. Quickly spread the mixture onto the lined baking sheet using two forks to separate the nuts evenly.
  5. Allow to cool completely before enjoying.
