- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup whole-rolled oats
- 35 caramel squares
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with aluminum foil and spray it with cooking spray.
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Stir in flour, oats, baking soda, and salt until combined.
- Spread half of this mixture evenly in the prepared pan and bake for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, melt caramels with heavy cream in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
- Once the base is baked, sprinkle chocolate chips over it and pour the warm caramel on top.
- Crumble the remaining mixture over the caramel layer and return to the oven for another 15-18 minutes.
