Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the sugar, vinegar, ketchup, soy sauce, sesame oil, light brown sugar, garlic, cornstarch, and cold water until combined.
  2. Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken in a single layer and cook until golden brown (5-7 minutes).
  4. Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken, stirring well to coat. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
