- 6 chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 large shallot
- 3 cloves garlic, grated
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 stick of butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 large peaches, sliced
- 4 sprigs fresh thyme
- Fresh basil for garnish
- 2 teaspoons sea salt, divided
- 1 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper, divided
- 1 teaspoon oregano, divided
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika, divided
- 8 oz. turkey strips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Season chicken thighs on both sides with salt, pepper, and oregano.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add turkey strips and cook until dark red; remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté seasoned chicken thighs for about 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove chicken and sauté shallots for 2 minutes, then add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Deglaze the pan with chicken broth, scraping up the bottom bits; simmer for about 3 minutes.
- Stir in butter and honey until melted; return the chicken to the skillet with thyme sprigs.
- Spoon sauce over chicken, cover, and bake for 15 minutes.
- Add sliced peaches on top and broil for another 3-5 minutes until peaches are tender.
