Ingredients

  • 6 chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 large shallot
  • 3 cloves garlic, grated
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 large peaches, sliced
  • 4 sprigs fresh thyme
  • Fresh basil for garnish
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt, divided
  • 1 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper, divided
  • 1 teaspoon oregano, divided
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika, divided
  • 8 oz. turkey strips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Season chicken thighs on both sides with salt, pepper, and oregano.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add turkey strips and cook until dark red; remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté seasoned chicken thighs for about 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. Remove chicken and sauté shallots for 2 minutes, then add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  5. Deglaze the pan with chicken broth, scraping up the bottom bits; simmer for about 3 minutes.
  6. Stir in butter and honey until melted; return the chicken to the skillet with thyme sprigs.
  7. Spoon sauce over chicken, cover, and bake for 15 minutes.
  8. Add sliced peaches on top and broil for another 3-5 minutes until peaches are tender.
