  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 medium ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixer, cream together the softened butter, peanut butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time and add the vanilla extract; mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, oats, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture while stirring gently.
  5. Fold in the mashed bananas and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Scoop dollops of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  7. Bake for about 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Let cool on a wire rack.
