Ingredients

Scale
  • Frozen chicken, vegetable, or tofu potstickers (12–15 pieces)
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil, divided
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup snow peas
  • 1 cup carrots (julienned)
  • 3 green onions (sliced, white and green parts separated)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (minced)
  • ⅓ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the frozen potstickers, cooking until golden and crisp on the bottom (2–3 minutes).
  2. Add ¼ cup water and cover with a lid to steam for 5–6 minutes until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining sesame oil and stir-fry broccoli, carrots, and snow peas for about 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Sauté minced garlic, ginger, and white parts of green onions for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, honey or brown sugar, and chili flakes in a bowl; pour into the skillet.
  6. Return potstickers to the skillet; gently stir to combine and simmer for 2 minutes.
  7. Garnish with green onion tops and sesame seeds before serving hot.
