  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 head green cabbage, shredded

  • 1 orange pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce


Instructions

  1. Thinly slice the chicken breasts and prepare the vegetables: slice the onion and orange pepper, mince the garlic, finely dice the jalapeño pepper, and shred the cabbage.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add the chicken strips and season with salt and pepper. Stir-fry until cooked through and lightly browned (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add sliced onion; sauté until softened (about 3 minutes). Add garlic and jalapeño; cook for an additional minute. Then add cabbage and orange pepper.
  4. Pour in chicken stock, oyster sauce, and soy sauce; stir well to coat vegetables evenly. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until cabbage is tender-crisp.
  5. Return cooked chicken to skillet; mix everything together for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
