Ingredients

  • 8 oz sushi-grade salmon
  • 1 leek (sliced into matchsticks)
  • 3 tbsp yuzu or lemon juice
  • ½ cup coconut milk
  • bunch cilantro
  • 2 scallions
  • 1 inch ginger
  • ½ tbsp agave syrup
  • 1 tbsp white miso paste
  • 1½ tbsp tamari or soy sauce
  • Flaky salt for garnish


Instructions

  1. Prepare leeks by slicing thinly and frying in oil until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes).
  2. Blend cilantro, yuzu juice, scallions, serrano pepper, ginger, agave syrup, miso paste, coconut milk, tamari sauce, and sesame oil until smooth.
  3. Slice the salmon thinly using a sharp knife.
  4. Strain the blended sauce onto a plate and arrange the sliced salmon on top.
  5. Finish with lemon zest, flaky salt, fried leeks, and garnish as desired.
