  • 1/2 cup sago pearls
  • 2 lbs strawberries (washed and stems removed)
  • 3/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 3 tablespoons condensed milk (adjustable)
  • 1 cup chilled coconut milk
  • Chopped strawberry pieces (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil and add the sago pearls. Cook until transparent (about 15 minutes). Remove from heat and let sit covered for another 10-15 minutes.
  2. Strain the cooked sago and rinse under cold water to prevent sticking. Set aside.
  3. Blend strawberries with evaporated milk and condensed milk until smooth. Chill in the refrigerator.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled sago pearls with chilled coconut milk and strawberry mixture. Mix well.
  5. Serve in individual cups, garnished with fresh strawberry pieces.
